IFRS Adoption Support Service
Since 2005 all member states of the EU are required to use IFRS as adopted by the EU for listed companies. And in 2011, US-SEC will determine whether or not IFRS application will become mandatory for US companies. Since 2001, more than 110 countries including Australia, South Korea, India, have permitted the use of IFRS.
In Japan, Financial Services Agency will determine around 2012 if all the Japanese companies have to adopt IFRS. At the earliest, adaptation is expected to start from 2015. The convergence between IFRS and Japanese accounting standards is already under way and many revisions are expected to. Accordingly Japanese companies must face IFRS as fundamental issue that cannot be avoided.
We can support and help clients to adopt IFRS from both tax and accounting perspective. Also, through the access to expertise in world-wide successful experience as a member firm of BKR International global team, we enhance and expand our service.
